HP Police launched a month long campaign in Feb 2021 to trace out missing persons. During this campaign we recovered 158 men, 317 women and 56 children, totally 531.

Theft in Raghu Nath Temple Kullu , a Case FIR No. 378/14 dated 09.12.2014 u/s 457, 380,

resident of Sultanpur District Kullu stating therein that on the intervening night of 8th &
9th December 2014 some unknown culprits reportedly stolen the artifacts (idols & other items)
from Sh. Raghunath Ji Temple Kullu i.e. Idol of Sh. Raghu Nath Ji of Astadhatu about 3” long
along with golden chain and golden bangle, Idol of Sh. Hanuman of Astadhatu about 6” long
along with golden pendent, One idol of Sh. Ganesh Ji, of silver length 5”, One Shila of Narsingh
covered with gold box, One Shila of Shaligram covered with gold box, One pair of silver Charan Paduka ,
Two bowls of silver, One Achaman of silver, One Shankh stand of silver, one Tasky of silver,
One Jot of silver, One Peedu of silver, Two Lotas of silver, One bell of Astadhatu, One stand of Dhoop.
Total weight of the articles except value of idol was reported 01Kg Gold & 10 Kg Silver amounting to Rs. 32 lacs.
All the stolen idols and articles have been recovered on the basis of facts disclosed by Nar Prasad Jaisi
during his interrogation at Nepal .

Two constables of this district i.e. Constable Radha Krishan-137 and Constable Rattan sagar-271 had made best efforts
and putting their own life on risk went down in a steep rock and rescued Sh. Vinay Kumar of Solan district from the rock
to safer place after 06 hours during Kinnaur Kailash Yatra on 04/08/2014.
Three persons flushed away near police quarters on Sadhupul link road on 16.07.2015 intervening night due to heavy rain fall
who were rescued by the police personnel of this battalion and took them to government hospital Junga for medical treatment and saved their lives.
The action of police personal was appreciated by the public of village Junga and Pradhan gram Panchyat Junga, also issued appreciation letter in this regard.
About 20-30 police personnel of this battalion helped in removal of slush and debris during heavy rain from the house of Sh. Beli ram r/o vill. Junga on 10/11 July 2015.
Blood donation camp was organized on 31.07.2014 at Bn. HQ Junga and maximum police personnel of this battalion donated their blood for social cause of humanity.
Proper arrangements for the smooth conduct of “De-addiction” programme held at police line Bharari w.e.f. 08.7.2015 to 17.7.2015 were made by this battalion.
“Sawachhta safai abhiyan” has been organised by the jawans of this battalion under the supervision of undersigned on 29.1.2015 with the co-operation of a NGO “Help Social Organization” at northern railway station Shimla & railway track up to HRTC bus stand and tunnel 103. 65 Officers/Jawans of this battalion participated in the said campaign. Efforts were appreciated by the staff of railways and tourist as well as by the citizen of the area.
Two ladies constable namely L/C Anurdha No.548 and L/C Priyanka No.466 of this battalion participated in inter battalion badminton competition held at 1st IRBn. Hdqrs. Bangarh w.e.f . 17.02.2014 to 20.02.2014 in which both LCs secured 1st position in double and L/C Priyanka secured 2nd position in single.
A special trekking expedition was conducted between Kufri and Junga on 20.4.2015 covering a distance of 18 kms on foot. The team was headed by Sh. S.R. Ojha, IPS, ADGP/AP&T/HP Shimla and Co. 1st HPAP Bn. Junga accompanied the trekking party. Ten other men and women police officials of this Bn. participated in this trekking campaign.
International “yoga divas” organized at Bn. Hdqrs. on 21.06.2015 in which all the GOs and police personnel participated at Bn. Hdqrs.
One village namely Sakoh adjacent to this battalion is adopted by this battalion and during this period the bifurcation road of this battalion was cleared by the police officials of this battalion.
State level HP Police Half Marathon was organized on 28.6.2015 at ridge Shimla in which all the GOs and police personnel present at hdqrs. were deployed for making necessary arrangements. all the officers & officials made consistent efforts for successful conduct of HP Police Half Marathon 2015.
On 03.10.2014 during the Rath yatra of ‘Lord Rahunathji’ held at Dusshera festival ground a minor child (aged 11yrs) namely master shubham who had come with his father sh. sanjay kumar resident of village- sarwari bazar po dhalpur tehsil and distt. kullu (hp) to pray with the holy place accidentally fell in front of rath of ‘Lord Rahunathji’. Incident happened when rath yatra of ‘Lord Rahunathji’ pulled by thousands of devotees and paid obeisance at dusshera festival ground. On seeing this HC Pawan Kumar No- 52 who had deployed for l&o duty at that place, showed his presence of mind, quickness, great courage by risking his live bravely took the child from the crowd, safe. If victim (master Shubham) was not taken away, in front of Rath of ‘Lord Rahunathji’ results would out to be worse. For this act of bravery, name of HC Pawan Kumar No. 52 of this battalion had been published in many news papers. district administration authorities, senior police officers, authorities of ‘international Kullu Dusshera Festival’ committee, wards of victim, local people were grateful to the above named official.
During Lohari Utsav-2015 villagers of village Jakhu was invited for the function held in Bn. complex. Beside this on Basant Panchmi occasion “Vishal Bhandra” is organized every year and villagers of nearby villages are invited during these religious celebrations.

HE SEEMS TO BE MENTALLY RETARDED TO A LITTLE EXTENT AND UPON INQUIRY; HE DISCLOSED HIS NAME AS INAMULLAH S/O SAHABULLAH R/O BATWARIA PO BILLOHA PS KHISRAHA TEHSIL BANSI DISTT. SIDDHARTH NAGAR (UP). THE STAFF OF PS KHAIRI PROVIDED CLOTHES TO HIM AND CONTACTED HIS FAMILY MEMBERS THROUGH HIS NATIVE POLICE STATION. HIS FAMILY MEMBERS IDENTIFIED HIS PHOTO AND ALSO TALKED TO HIM. THEY HAVE BEEN TRACED WITH EXTENSIVE EFFORTS FROM PLACES LIKE RAJKOT IN GUJARAT; KISHANGARH & GANGANAGAR DISTRICTS OF RAJASTHAN; SAHARANPUR IN UP; KATHUA IN J&K; TARANTARAN, PHAGWARA, BHATINDA & ANANDPUR SAHIB IN PUNJAB, ETC.
ON 11.11.2019, A FIR WAS REGISTERED AT PS CHOWARI U/S 420 IPC ON A COMPLAINT THAT ON 2.10.2019 THE VICTIM RECEIVED A LETTER BY POST IN REGARD TO LUCKY DRAW SCRATCH COUPON & OTHER FORMS FROM SAFE SHOP ( SAFE & SECURE MARKETING PVT. LTD) BASED AT GANGTOK. ON THEIR DIRECTION, HE DEPOSITED RS.2,20,000 IN 2 SBI BANK ACCOUNTS ON THE PRETEXT OF PAYING TAXES FOR RECEIVING A SUV, WHICH HE HAD WON IN THE ABOVE DRAW. A TEAM WAS IMMEDIATELY SENT AND AFTER A LOT OF EFFORTS THE KINGPIN AMIT KUMAR @BITTU R/O KATRISARAI, NALANDA WAS APPREHENDED FROM PATNA BY CHAMBA POLICE TEAM. 10 MOBILE PHONES, 55 SIMS, 13 ATMS, 2 BANK ACCOUNT PASSBOOKS & CHEQUE BOOKS,1 LAPTOP, BULK OF THE ABOVE STATED LUCKY DRAW COUPONS, STAMPS, ETC WERE RECOVERED FROM HIM. HIS PERSONAL ICICI BANK ACCOUNT WITH A BALANCE OF RS.4 LAKHS HAS BEEN SEIZED.

AROUND 1.40 PM AN CAR ALTO 800, BEARING NO. HP 81-1075 CAME FROM NANIKHAD SIDE TOWARDS PATHANKOT STOPPED FOR CHECKING. DURING CHECKING 13.434 KGS CHARAS/CANNABIS HAS BEEN RECOVERED FROM THE BONNET OF THE CAR. DURING INTERROGATION DRIVER OF VEHICLE DISCLOSED HIS IDENTITY AS NARINDER SINGH S/O SH. MAAN SINGH R/O VILLAGE FAGDOG, PO DEIUR, TEHSIL SALOONI, DISTRICT CHAMBA. ACCUSED HAS BEEN ARRESTED.
ON 17-11-2019, HC SURINDER KUMAR OF DISTRICT CHAMBA, WHO HAS BEEN POSTED PRESENTLY AT TTR CHAMBA, AFTER PERFORMING HIS DUTY AND TIRED SCHEDULE, REACHED HOME IN THE EVENING. IN THE MEANWHILE, HE RECEIVED INFORMATION THAT ONE PATIENT AT HOSPITAL, CHAMBA WAS IN SERIOUS CONDITION AND REQUIRED BLOOD. SAID HC AT ONCE, WITHOUT ANY DELAY REACHED HOSPITAL AND DONATE BLOOD TO THE PATIENT, THUS SAVED HIS LIFE. ON THE VERY NEXT MORNING, SAID HC WITHOUT TAKING ANY MEDICAL REST, REACHED ON HIS DUTY POINT. HE COULD HAVE TAKEN REST ON THE NEXT DAY, BUT HE PERFORMED HIS DUTY AS USUAL, THUS SETTING EXAMPLE OF GOOD IMAGE OF POLICE AS WELL AS GOOD RELATIONSHIP OF POLICE-PUBLIC RELATIONSHIP.
